Service Description

Come and join us in the woods for Forest School activities including campfire, cooking, mindfulness, meditation, tool work, forest bathing and plant id. We also offer opportunities to develop your creativity by facilitating eco/ natural arts and crafts such as weaving, sculpting, drawing and painting. This will be a progressive group where we will all learn, play, share, and develop our skills at our own pace. We as Forest School practitioners facilitate the space for you to take control of your own learning journey. Each session we will have a seasonal theme to go alongside, please see info and dates below. Regular visits to a natural space builds a relationship between you and the natural environment which in-turn benefits the mind, body and soul of you the individual and the environment you are connecting with. Due to the nature of the woodland it may be unsuitable for those who may have severe mobility issues, however please contact us though we may be able to make arrangements. £15 a session, £45 for 3 weeks Thursday 18th April - Plant id, foraging for some delicious wild edibles! We will then head back to base for some wild tea's made on the fire and foraged treats. With added opportunity for some journaling. Thursday 2nd May - Following on from the previous week we will explore a few different recipes on the campfire with a mix of foraged and locally grown produce. Thursday 16th May - Join us in the 'hapa zome'! Want to release some tension - we have the answer! Join us to explore colours and prints on cotton while we bash away! Please note everything we do is optional and suitable for complete beginners. And if you want to come and sit by the fire that's cool too! Sessions will go ahead in all weathers other than high winds. Sessions may be cancelled if we don't meet a minimum number in which case refunds will be given.
